My sister is being moved to a rehab facility so she can start her physical, speech, and occupational therapy today. After the first doctors telling us she would never recover we got a 2nd opinion and now shes recovering faster than expected.

We still need your help. Please donate/reblog thank you.

This is Deagle, our dog who we’ve had for 9 years. He was born in June 2008. It would be the absolute greatest birthday gift to him ever to give him a fighting chance at life.

Just last Monday, on the 29th of May 2017, we brought Deagle to the vet as we knew something was quite off with his breathing. He got x-rays done as well as a blood sample. The x-rays showed that he had a large amount of fluid building up in his lungs which was making it hard for him to breathe. We were then referred to a specialist to do further testing and draining of the fluid from his lungs.

In total, over 1850 milliliters was drained from his lungs in the span of just a week. We are awaiting test results from a CT scan at the moment to give a more detailed diagnosis of the cause of Deagle’s fluid build up. Furthermore, surgery is needed to give a more accurate diagnosis and to maybe put a tube under his skin which will make it easier and less stressful for him to drain his lungs regularly.

Deagle’s currently at home right now. We had no choice but to bring him home as we do not have anymore funding to put him through the emergency surgery that he needs. We’ve reached our $4500 annual limit with our pet insurance and he may not have a lot of time left if we do not give him the surgery he needs. He’s still so strong and happy otherwise which is why the thought of having to put him down absolutely breaks my heart as I know he’s been pushing through with so much courage. Please help Deagle conquer this situation with us! Every dollar counts. Thank you so much, from the bottom of our hearts.
